We’re proud to announce that Proseek Bio has been selected to join the 2026 BioTools Innovator cohort; a globally competitive accelerator program spotlighting the most promising companies advancing life science tools and diagnostics.

Chosen from a pool of nearly 550 applicants, Proseek Bio is one of just 30 companies selected, placing it among the top tier of emerging innovators in the field.

This milestone reflects both the strength of our platform and the growing recognition of technologies that can meaningfully accelerate scientific discovery and healthcare innovation.

Representing Proseek Bio in San Francisco

As part of the program launch, Leo Bolero represented Proseek Bio at the BioTools Innovator Summit in San Francisco, where founders, investors, and industry leaders came together to mark the beginning of the cohort.

The Summit provided an early opportunity to connect with peers facing similar challenges and opportunities in scaling life science technologies, from research tools through to commercialisation.

“As part of the program, we’re connecting with an incredibly strong cohort of companies and mentors,” said Leo Bolero.

“It’s a unique opportunity to accelerate both our technology and our global partnerships.”

Reflecting on the experience, Leo emphasised the quality and diversity of the companies involved, noting that the cohort brings together innovators working across diagnostics, research technologies, and next-generation scientific platforms.

“What stands out immediately is the calibre of the cohort,” he said.

“These are companies tackling real, globally relevant problems, and there’s a shared ambition to move quickly from promising technology to real-world impact.”

Accelerating Growth Through Global Connections

Over the next six months, Proseek Bio will participate in an intensive program designed to accelerate both technical and commercial progress. The BioTools Innovator program connects cohort companies with experienced mentors, corporate partners, and investors across the global life sciences ecosystem.

For Proseek Bio, this represents a meaningful opportunity to expand beyond local networks and build deeper international connections.

“A program like this gives us access to perspectives we wouldn’t otherwise have, from experienced operators to strategic partners in global markets,” said Leo Bolero.

“That kind of access is incredibly valuable as we think about scaling.”

He added that the structured nature of the program combined with exposure to investors and partners creates a strong environment for translating technical progress into tangible business outcomes.

“It’s not just about refining the technology,” Leo explained.

“It’s about aligning that technology with market needs, building the right partnerships, and accelerating the path to adoption.”

A Highly Competitive Selection

The BioTools Innovator cohort is not only selective but also highly competitive, with hundreds of global applicants competing for a place each year.

Being selected is a strong external validation of Proseek Bio’s platform and its potential to contribute to the future of life sciences tools and diagnostics.

“This kind of recognition matters,” said Leo Bolero.

“It signals to partners, investors, and the broader ecosystem that what we’re building has real potential — and that we’re ready to take the next step.”

The program culminates in a final showcase, where participating companies will present for the opportunity to secure additional funding and support for further growth.

Looking Ahead

For the Proseek Bio team, this milestone is both a recognition of progress to date and a launchpad for the next phase of growth.

In the coming months, the team will focus on strengthening its platform, expanding its network, and exploring new partnership opportunities that can accelerate its impact across the scientific and healthcare communities.

“We’re entering a phase where momentum really matters,” said Leo Bolero.“Programs like this create the conditions to move faster, learn faster, and build stronger relationships globally.”

Alongside the core program, Proseek Bio is also looking forward to increasing its visibility on the international stage, including an upcoming feature on the NASDAQ building in Times Square later this year.
